Fantastic location with stunning surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. It was great that they welcomed dogs and even provided treats and blankets. The local information provided was extensive and useful for exploring nearby towns. Will definitely be returning for another short break.
Nothing, it was perfect.

had a break on our long journey and stayed at this charming cottage in Marnoch. exceeded our expectations with attention to detail - tunnocks teacakes, flowers, heaters on! had all the amenities needed, including a dishwasher and log burner. couldn't ask for more!
Shower was a letdown, but expected on a farmland.

We had a great time staying at a cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside. the cottage was spotlessly clean and had a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including an induction hob and microwave. the twin beds were comfortable and the peaceful location ensured a good night's sleep. the friendly and helpful hosts made our stay even more enjoyable.
The shower was a bit difficult to adjust, resulting in occasional cool or partially warm showers. It would have been more convenient if the hot water switch was mentioned more prominently in the guest manual.

We definitely got great value for our money at Deveron Valley Cottages. The room was immaculate, cosy, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful woodlands and close to the river. The staff, Ally and Jason, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast selection could have been a bit more varied.

What a fantastic stay we had at Deveron Valley Cottages! The lodge was nestled in a picturesque woodland setting, perfect for exploring with the kids and our furry friend. Despite the chilly October weather, the lodge was incredibly cozy and warm, retaining heat exceptionally well. We were greeted with fresh flowers, a jar of chocolate treats, and even a basket with dog towels and poo bags - such thoughtful touches! Ally and Jason were friendly and welcoming, clearly putting in a lot of effort to make this a great holiday destination. There was so much to do in the area, both inland and along the coast. Our favorite beach was Cullen beach with its stunning rock formations and abundance of driftwood. We would love to come back and experience it all again.

What a fantastic hidden gem! A beautiful traditional log cabin, hidden in the Deveron Valley. The hosts Ally, Jason & Jules were all extremely friendly & welcoming. The cabin has everything you’d need. The log burner made the cabin wonderfully cosy in the evenings. The river is only a short couple minutes walk behind, and provides another hidden beauty. Plenty of space to park. Fresh Free range eggs from hosts chickens available to purchase on site, very tasty. Very dog friendly, they loved it too! Can’t wait to return. For Info: Previous review mentions coin operated electric meter, this has been removed and coins no longer required.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing Xmas getaway in this hidden gem! The traditional log cabin was cozy with a log burner and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks by the river just minutes away. We also enjoyed visiting nearby attractions and beaches. Plus, the fresh free-range eggs from the chickens on-site were delicious!
The shower was a bit tricky to adjust to the hot water system, resulting in cool or partially warm showers. It could be a challenge in winter, but the bathroom's heated towel rail kept it warm.

Being just a short walk away from the beautiful river Deveron allowed for picturesque morning walks. the surrounding towns also had plenty to offer, with stunning beaches and convenient shopping options. the cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable, and the wood burner provided more than enough warmth on chilly nights.
The shower in the cabin was a bit difficult to adjust to the hot water system, resulting in occasionally cool or partially warm showers.
